Business Analyst

Job Overview

The Business Analyst 2 serves as a Delivery & Validation Business Analyst within the PMO, supporting application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, and other technology projects. This role focuses on requirements analysis and traceability, solution validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business readiness, and successful transition to production.

Job Duties

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements, business processes, workflows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop current-state and future-state process documentation and perform gap, impact, dependency, and process analysis.
• Evaluate proposed solutions against documented business requirements, processes, constraints, and intended outcomes.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, solution decisions, validation activities, defects, changes, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Develop business validation scenarios and UAT test cases and coordinate testers, schedules, test execution, results, and defect tracking.
• Support business and operational readiness for application releases, technology upgrades, infrastructure changes, migrations, and production cutovers.
• Assess stakeholder and business impacts and develop communications, user documentation, job aids, training materials, and other adoption resources as needed.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Project Managers, Application Development, architects, technical teams, vendors, and other project partners.
• Independently manage assigned analysis activities and competing priorities while proactively communicating risks, issues, gaps, progress, and recommendations.

Job Requirements

• Experience performing business analysis for application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, or other complex technology projects.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable project/test-management tools.
• Experience with the CAI system or InfoMap.
