The Business Analyst involves supporting the improvement of information systems and business processes for Security First Managers. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to document system enhancements, managing issue triage and resolution, and facilitating meetings to define project requirements. The role also entails developing business requirements, providing production support for system issues, and maintaining documentation for user procedures. The position requires tracking project activities, identifying and managing risks, and adhering to corporate governance standards. Additionally, it emphasizes a customer service orientation and effective communication with various stakeholders, with the possibility of changing duties during emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of relevant experience
• OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
Certifications and Licenses:
• May be required to possess a valid state of Florida driver’s license
• Insurance industry designations or trade certifications as required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of advanced mathematic and algebraic principles and calculations
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
• Basic knowledge of specialized project management and organization software, including Jira or similar software
• Skill in the use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Ability documenting moderately complex system requirements
• Ability to provide high quality and efficient customer service
• Ability to prioritize workload and complete project activities efficiently to ensure that deadlines and quality objectives are met.
• Ability to use reasoning skills that minimize duplication of efforts, including but not limited to comparing, classifying, analyzing and coordinating
• Ability to clearly communicate and understand information in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to regularly attend work and arrive punctually for designated work schedule
Position is a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of three days onsite
