Business Analyst I

This position performs data analysis to identify factors that affect business profitability, growth, and efficiency. Assesses current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business operations. Assists in determining improvements or solutions to address business issues. Prepares technical reports by examining and summarizing data.

Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.

Operational Support - Provides support for business unit by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve standard practices. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements.

Identifying Objectives - Determines overall business needs through analysis and reporting. May identify strategies to achieve company and department goals, and assist in creating specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation to communicate business initiatives to wider work group.

Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 4 years' experience in Analytics, or Operations, or Support

The base pay for this position is generally between $33.75/hr and $39.71/hr. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
