Job Summary:
This role focuses on integrating financial forecasting models into a dedicated platform, ensuring data accuracy and user accessibility. The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between finance teams and technical developers, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. Success in this position involves meticulous documentation, effective testing, and continuous improvement of the onboarding process for forecasting models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate finance reporting needs into technical specifications.
- Define data requirements and validate source data.
- Design user interfaces for forecast adjustments.
- Collaborate with engineering on model implementation and testing.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing plans.
Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- SQL querying skills
- Experience with financial planning tools
Domain / Industry Experience:
- Experience in finance systems or enterprise planning tools is required, with a preference for media, streaming, or subscription business models.
