Job Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, data analysis, and Agile tools and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and support delivery of technology solutions. This role requires a specific start date and a hybrid schedule of at least three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit and analyze business needs with stakeholders and translate them into clear, testable requirements.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement and produce reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Evaluate and model business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to support continuous improvement.
- Lead or support mid-sized projects, including planning, tracking, and coordination for delivery.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to validate requirements with business and technical teams.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and business goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, systems, and requirements and track project metrics and outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Typically 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving with ability to derive insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation.
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading or mentoring junior analysts on deliverables and best practices.
- Background in creating dashboards and performance reports for leadership stakeholders.
Typical Deliverables:
- Business Requirements Documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Process flows, data models, and supporting documentation.
- Reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics.
Level Expectations (BA II):
- Operate with moderate independence and limited supervision.
- Handle more complex analysis and mid-sized projects.
- Contribute to decision-making and stakeholder management and may mentor BA I analysts.
Additional Details:
- This position follows a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
