Job Summary Business Analyst III (United Airlines, Chicago, IL)
- Serve as a key liaison between high-level business strategy and technical execution within the United Airlines development team.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers and architects to document complex message flows and business rules.
- Partner with Enterprise Quality Assurance (EQA) to define testing requirements and resolve technical issues/blockers.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive catalog of customer notifications, including timelines, business rules, and trigger events.
- Ensure all requirements and user stories are thoroughly documented and managed in Azure DevOps Boards.
- Provide regular project updates and system analytics to stakeholders and upper management.
- Utilize technical business analysis skills (8+ years), process flow documentation (5+ years, Visio or similar tools), and Agile methodologies with Azure DevOps Boards (3+ years).
- Desired skills include data/eventing requirements gathering, experience with TIBCO applications or event-driven architecture, system prototyping, analytics, and airline industry experience.
- Ideal for a highly communicative, senior-level analyst with a technical background who can support Project Managers or Scrum Masters and thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.E
