Business Analyst III (Commercial Lending & Underwriting)
Atlanta, Georgia (hybrid- onsite 3 days per week)
12-month contract
Pay Rate: $54.00 - $58.00per hr.

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the ongoing enhancement and modernization of a commercial lending underwriting platform. This individual will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an Agile environment, has experience with financial services or lending applications, and can effectively communicate with developers, architects, and business partners. This is a functional Business Analyst role and does not involve hands-on software development.

Primary Responsibilities

Domain Expertise (Must Have)
- Strong experience in **Commercial Banking**.
- Hands-on knowledge of **Credit Products**.
- Experience supporting **Real Estate Banking** initiatives.
- Understanding of **Credit Underwriting** processes and banking workflows.
- Experience working with **Customer Relationship Management (CRM)** processes and business users.

Required Skills:

6+ years of Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis experience.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven experience in Commercial Banking, particularly with Credit Products and Real Estate Banking.
Ability to bridge business and technology teams while ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence.

Bonus Skills:

Commercial banking, commercial lending, or mortgage lending experience.
Experience supporting underwriting or loan origination applications.
Familiarity with Client and Freddie Mac processes.
Experience working with Client APIs and Desktop Underwriter (DU) Gateway integrations.
Understanding of the agency loan underwriting and loan resale process.
Exposure to AWS, SaaS platforms, or cloud-based application environments.
Experience participating in application migration or cloud transformation initiatives.
