TV Engagement Optimization Lead - Live Sports & Entertainment

Location: Hybrid (Cupertino, CA)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Hybrid

Contract Length: 12-Month Contract

Extension Potential: Yes, potential for extension based on business needs and performance

Compensation: $78.36/hr W2

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced analytics professional to help drive content engagement and audience growth across a leading streaming entertainment platform. This role combines business analysis, data storytelling, dashboard development, and cross-functional collaboration to help teams make data-driven decisions that improve content performance and viewer engagement.

The ideal candidate is passionate about video, streaming media, entertainment, and using data to influence strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze content engagement and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities
• Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions
• Partner with product, analytics, editorial, marketing, and business teams to provide actionable insights
• Translate complex data into clear business recommendations
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to audience engagement
• Track competitive trends within the streaming and digital media landscape
• Create executive presentations and business review materials
• Support strategic decision-making through data analysis and storytelling
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 5-7+ years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, strategy, insights, or related fields
• Experience leveraging data to drive business decisions and recommendations
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to leadership teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience creating executive-level presentations using Keynote or similar tools
• Ability to translate data into strategic business insights
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Streaming, entertainment, media, or digital content industry experience
• Experience analyzing audience engagement, viewership, or content performance metrics
• Knowledge of streaming platform user experiences and engagement strategies
• Interest in sports, live events, and entertainment content
• Tableau or other visualization tool experience
• Subscription-based business experience
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within large organizations
• MBA preferred
• Previous experience working in large-scale technology or media environments
