Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst III for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will drive critical financial analysis and capital planning initiatives to support informed business decisions and operational performance.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst III Responsibilities include:

• Analyze financial and operational data to support capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.

• Develop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and reporting tools to evaluate project costs, resource allocation, and investment opportunities.

• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory teams to support rate case filings, capital expenditure planning, and financial reporting requirements.

• Utilize SAP and other financial systems to extract, validate, and analyze data while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

• Prepare management reports, budget reviews, cost studies, and ad hoc analyses to provide actionable insights and performance metrics.

• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives, audits, and process improvement efforts while supporting compliance and operational objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, engineering, or operational analysis.

• Proven experience using SAP, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning tools.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to support regulatory filings, rate cases, and cross-functional business initiatives.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $58.00 per hour
