Overview
As a Business Analyst III, you'll contribute your design, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help transform and maintain financial applications that support Chick-fil-A's philanthropic areas. You will serve as the primary technical owner and trusted partner between Digital Transformation & Technology (DTT) and the Philanthropic Financial Services (PFS) team. You will ensure the stability and evolution of the PFS financial ecosystem, which includes Oracle Cloud ERP, Workday, and Adaptive Insights.
In this role, you don't just gather requirements; you are a hands-on technical steward responsible for the health of complex integrations, SQL-based data troubleshooting, and the seamless flow of financial data across cloud platforms. You will collaborate daily with engineering pods and external partners to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
Responsibilities
Technical Stewardship:
Leverage technical understanding and business acumen to translate high-level business requirements into functional and technical specifications for a DevOps pod to meet strategic goals and objectives of the broader organization
Serve as the Technical Steward for the Charitable Entities data collection; monitor and resolve data lake ingestion failures and integration errors.
Gather, possess and document functional and technical knowledge and cross-train staff as required
Production Support:
Perform daily "Keep the Lights On" activities, including monitoring Oracle Receivables import exceptions, corporate card transaction flows, and Adaptive integration successes.
Integration Management:
Partner with the Financials API Pod and Oracle Engineering to design, test, and support integrations utilizing AWS (Lambdas/ECS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and SFTP protocols.
Data Analysis & Troubleshooting:
Utilize SQL (via Deloitte Cloud Insights) to query Oracle databases for root-cause analysis of financial discrepancies and system bugs.
Cross-Functional Liaison:
Lead requirements sessions for new enhancements, translating complex business needs from PFS and WinShape leadership into technical specifications for developers.
Identity & Access Management:
Manage user lifecycle and security permissions across the tech stack (WAS, Workday, Oracle, Adaptive) to ensure appropriate internal controls.
Vendor & Partner Management:
Manage technical relationships and support tickets with external partners, including Deloitte, Oracle Support, and Wells Fargo
