Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the development, coordination, and preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and contracts for technology-related and operational projects. This position will be a 6-12 month full-time contract and can be performed remotely.

Only work authorizations that will not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, coordinate, and prepare Request for Proposal documents for Commission technology-related and operational projects

  • Ensure adherence to state procurement requirements and best practices

  • Assist with the proposal evaluation process

  • Develop, draft, negotiate, and review technology-related and operational contracts and related documents

  • Evaluate contracts and related documents for risks and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data-protection standards

  • Serve as the primary support and coordinator for the Commission’s E-Commerce procurement and the resulting contract

  • Train Commission staff on the Request for Proposal process and contract development

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Expertise in contract drafting

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and explain contract language to stakeholders

  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

  • Familiarity with New Hampshire Liquor Commission procedures and business needs

  • Experience with State of New Hampshire procurement and contracting requirements

  • Ability to interpret statutes, policies, and technical requirements

Preferred:

  • Experience with technology-related and operational contract management

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$70.30 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
