Business Analyst – Insurance / FAIR Plans / Grants Management

Location: Remote EST Hours
Employment Type: Contract C2C / 1099

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Insurance to support business requirements, process design, workflow definition, and functional analysis. Candidates with experience in FAIR Plans and Grants Management programs are strongly preferred.

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Develop L1/L2/L3 process flows and workflow models.
• Define business rules, validation logic, and rules-engine requirements.
• Analyze policy lifecycle and eligibility validation processes.
• Support claims-like fulfillment workflows, including inspection, approval, and payment.
• Define requirements related to funding allocation and compliance controls.
• Support the design of role-based platforms and configurable workflow systems.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirement reviews, and solution validation.

• Strong Business Analyst experience within the Insurance domain.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience with workflow/process modeling and business rules definition.
• Understanding of policy lifecycle, eligibility, fulfillment, and compliance processes.
• Experience working with JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process-modeling tools.
• Experience with Confluence or similar documentation platforms.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

FAIR Plans and/or Grants Management program experience is highly preferred.
