KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with project/ team managers and business sponsors/stakeholders to document and understand business scope, vision, business objectives, and benefits.
• Analyze complex business problems and translate them into scalable, effective solutions
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with senior stakeholders and SMEs
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and process reviews to gather business needs, user requirements, use cases, and scenarios.
• Facilitate meetings, discussions, and presentations with stakeholders
• Ensure alignment between organizational strategy and business objectives, business and privacy goals, and project outcomes
• Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
• Analyze existing systems/processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, or enhancement opportunities
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product teams to design end-to-end solutions. Ensure solutions meet business requirements and are scalable and sustainable
• Ensure solutions adhere to privacy-by-design and data minimization principles
• Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
• Identify, create, and maintain a variety of business analysis deliverables including scope documents, business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, workflow diagrams, and mock-ups
• Create clear, concise, and well-structured documentation to ensure requirements and processes are easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders and team members
• Communicate requirements clearly to cross-functional teams
• Lead UAT planning and execution
• Ensure requirements traceability from design through testing and implementation
• Validate that delivered solutions meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and internal privacy standards
• Support audit readiness and regulatory reviews
WHAT WILL THIS PERSON BE WORKING ON
The IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a critical role in ensuring that business processes, systems, and data practices comply with applicable privacy regulations and organizational policies. This role partners with legal, compliance, security, and IT teams to translate privacy requirements into actionable business and technical solutions. The Sr. BA leads complex initiatives related to data protection, supports regulatory readiness, and drives implementation of privacy-by-design principles across the organization.WANTS

• IS related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT business analysis or related roles
• Proven experience leading requirements gathering and documentation for complex projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced ability to research, analyze impact, and suggest solutions for complex problems.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with privacy tools (OneTrust or similar)
• Knowledge of data governance, information security, or risk management frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
