Job Summary (List Format) Business Analyst IV

- Serve as the main business analyst and subject matter expert for high-priority Alliance projects within the Alliances Initiatives team.
- Understand and analyze both internal and external customer experiences to inform business and technical requirements.
- Write comprehensive business and technical requirements; initiate, author, and update internal/external documentation.
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness, troubleshoot issues, and maintain business processes.
- Assess real-life scenarios to document current states, identify process gaps, and evaluate system efficiencies.
- Collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple business units (sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop analysis and documentation.
- Create and implement detailed management plans for projects, ensuring transparent communication and timely reporting.
- Deliver regular status updates and present project goals/activities directly to leadership, fostering strong partner relationships.
- Act as a thought leader for technical business processes, identifying substandard systems and proposing innovative system prototypes.
- Utilize strong skills in business and technical requirements writing, systems analytics, process documentation, and stakeholder management.
- High proficiency with SQL and database management; experience in Business Objects and knowledge of ITIL Foundations preferred.
- Ideal candidate has 5-8+ years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in airline or banking industries is a plus.
