Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst (BA) with foundational experience in payments to support initiatives within the FX domain. This is a low‑complexity, early‑career role focused on requirement gathering, documentation, and collaboration with business and technology teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable using AI tools to assist in writing requirements and has a strong interest in learning enterprise payment systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate business and data flow requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements, leveraging basic technical and data knowledge
• Define system capabilities (“what the system should do”) in collaboration with Product and Operations partners
• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Support cross‑functional teams by contributing to architecture documentation, standards, and governance artifacts
• Use AI‑assisted tools to efficiently draft and refine requirement documentation
• Continuously develop knowledge of payments, FX workflows, and enterprise systems

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
• Hands‑on experience with payment systems or payment processing (must‑have)
• Ability to gather requirements and create functional documentation
• Working knowledge of:
  • Business applications and data usage
  • Requirement documentation and flow‑charting tools
• Ability to understand basic code logic and write simple data queries
• Understanding of core software development principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data or system mapping
• Exposure to FX or financial services environments
• Familiarity with AI tools for documentation or analysis
