Description
The Information Technology department is hiring a Business Analyst.
Under general direction of the Information Technology Director, the Business Analyst will serve as the vital link between CBJ's information technology and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of all software and systems product's features. They will support departments document and improve the work process to find efficient and sustainable business models.

They have strong technical skills and a desire to grow, with an eagerness to learn ever-changing technology. The candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, can clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users both verbally and in writing, and is reliable and dependable while contributing to the overall success of the department.

The Information Technology (IT) Department is a service and support department of the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ). WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
This position typically works an eight (8) hour day (Monday through Friday). The shift beginning and finish times will be determined on start date but will be between 7:30am - 8:30am and your finish time will match accordingly between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. Our office is located at 11305 Glacier Highway, near Statter Harbor.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
Six (6) years of any combination of post-secondary education and progressively responsible experience performing business and systems analysis, research, reporting, process improvement, and/or business/financial/technical operations.
Post-secondary Credit:
Applicants must document how relevant education and experience meets the above minimum qualification.
