DTMB Agency Services needs a Business Analyst to provide excellent customer service supporting both project and work request needs for the Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) Agency.
Key responsibilities include being the liaison between DTMB and the project stakeholders, as well as providing expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects. In addition, as part of the overall support for EGLE, this person will be a critical member of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team, participating in various related work requests for EGLE and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team.
Customer service and being a champion to ease Agency compliance with DTMB policies and practices are key performance expectations for this person. They must be able to quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers and
help EGLE navigate those for the success for their projects and work requests.

Requirements

7 year:
  • Conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling
5 years:
  • Developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
2 years:
  • Working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
  • Supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
  • Working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use
1 year:
  • Working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma

Location

  • Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule)
  • Position is a hybrid schedule with on-site 2 days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays are the required on-site days. Resources MUST be located in the state of Michigan during remote days
  • Working hours Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   

Additional Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; We are unable to offer sponsorships at this time
  • Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.

Employment Terms

  • This is a W2 position
  • 40 hrs per week
  • HYBRID schedule - with on-site 2 days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays are the required on-site days. Resources MUST be located in the state of Michigan during remote days
