Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Manufacturing department for a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The position is 100% onsite.
The Manufacturing Business / Operations Analyst supports plant and supply chain operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production, quality, inventory, and cost data. This role helps identify improvement opportunities, optimize throughput, and reduce manufacturing costs. The analyst partners closely with operations, engineering, quality, procurement, finance, and commercial teams to enable data‑driven decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze plant operations data to support productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Plant Manager's office by consolidating and analyzing site‑level expense data.
Establish and support the advisory unit's organizational structure and operating model.
Enable effective communication and collaboration between plant operations and commercial teams.
Provide commercial teams with competitive benchmarking insights and preliminary pricing analysis related to plant operations.
Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across production, quality, inventory, and supply chain metrics.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Experience
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing analysis, operations analysis, business analysis, or continuous improvement roles.
Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas).
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience coordinating across departments.
