Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team in support of our federal program.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful, mission-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, interviews, and working sessions with program offices, to understand business problems, elicit needs, and document success criteria
- Contribute to roadmaps and implementation plans for AI-enabled capabilities by documenting business needs, dependencies, expected outcomes, and measures of value
- Facilitate working sessions with program offices to translate business needs into clear, actionable, and measurable requirements
- Ensure requirements traceability to strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and data readiness
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align problem definitions, priorities, requirements, and success measures
- Analyze, refine, and document business and system requirements, including functional needs, data sources, process flows, and cross-system integration requirements
- Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities, solution approaches, dependencies, risks, and implementation objectives
- Support initiatives from problem definition through implementation by maintaining continuity across requirements, development, testing, and deployment activities
- Support development and maintenance of work plans, schedules, estimates, status reports, action items, and other project documentation
- Define and track success metrics tied to business outcomes (not just delivery milestones)
- Identify, document, monitor, and escalate project risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies
- Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards and reviews of project deliverables
- Provide business analysis support to project teams and seek guidance on complex technical or programmatic issues as needed
- Provide support and expertise in assigned domain
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
- Special projects as needed
Required Skills
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall project environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong planning, organization, and project coordination capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant business analysis, requirements, or project coordination experience; experience supporting a federal customer preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience supporting federal IT projects or technology modernization initiatives preferred
- Experience supporting multiple projects.
- Experience working with enterprise security and cloud frameworks.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, client-focused environments
- Experience supporting federal programs preferred
Education
- Position requires a BS/BA degree in business, information systems, a STEM discipline, or a related field, with 5–8 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered
- CAPM, CSM, SAFe, ECBA, CCBA, or comparable business analysis or Agile certification preferred
Work Location and Schedule
- McLean, VA/Washington D.C./Hybrid
- Monday – Friday 8AM – 5:30PM EST
- Work schedules and arrangements (remote/hybrid) may be adjusted based on client and program needs

Compensation
Salary range reflects our commitment to pay equity and transparency. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, certifications, labor qualifications, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
