Why You Will Love this JobPrimary FunctionAs a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs, technical solutions, and converting. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze processes, and recommend innovative solutions that align with organizational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technology, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
Specific Responsibilities- Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements. Translates business needs into clear and actionable requirements for development teams.
- Collaborates with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements. Creates detailed documentation, including system specifications, workflows, and user stories. Ensures that proposed solutions align with the overall IT architecture and security standards.
- Initiates projects by collaborating with the business and the Business Solution Manager to gather and document requirements in the IT PPM tool. Develops high-level resource and cost estimates, along with an initial project plan, which project managers can further refine and execute.
- Acts as a liaison between business leaders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding. Conducts regular meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback. Builds and maintains strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluates current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains. Works closely with business units to streamline processes and implement best practices. Provides recommendations for process improvements and technological enhancements.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field required, with a preference towards a master's degree and/or CBAP or CCBA certifications.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes. Experience with data modeling and visualization tools.
Systems & Tools Knowledge- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Jira, and Confluence).
