Business Analyst III

Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ

Onsite Flexibility: Remote (East Coast hours required)

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months (extension possible)
  • Pay Rate: $50.00 $55.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday Friday (ET); overtime as needed
  • Travel Requirements: Not required

Job Summary

The Operations Analyst acts as an Operations owner or representative on projects which are primarily focused on the continuous improvement of Transaction Services. Projects could involve standardization, conversion, productivity, service quality or other strategic issues or documentation related to these areas. The job complies with Federal regulations and industry rules including, but not limited to Bank policies and procedures, as well as all job relevant Risk Management and Corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and approve initial responses to USCA Exam Management team for audits and regulatory exams, complete required data validation/lookback, etc.
  • Drive solutions for identified issues, complete data validation/lookback, ensure Action Plan milestones are met, etc.
  • Manage Quality results
  • Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of operational efficiencies for bank operations
  • Research and apply Customer requirements in the development and enhancement of systems
  • Participate in projects, communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues to senior management to ensure project objectives are met
  • Provide day-to-day business partner support for Investor and Internal Partners
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Operations processes and act as a resource for resolving technical or operational issues
  • Train employees
  • Assist management with the investigation of internal and external audit findings
  • Project scope may encompass other areas within Bank Operations

Required Skills

  • Loss mitigation and/or Asset management (3 years)
  • Financial Institution (FI) industry experience
  • Reporting using Power Apps and SharePoint
  • Microsoft Office Excel and Word (strong proficiency)
  • Must have mortgage experience
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Problem solving and self-starter
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Mail merge
  • Financial / Banking experience with Loss Mitigation and/or Asset Management

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Required Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of related experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Remote position working East Coast hours (ET)
  • Approximately 2 hours per week spent in meetings
  • Internal-facing interactions
  • Contractor will have access to customer data
