The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to assist a federal government customer. You will help gather and translate requirements, create and use existing documents to update SOPs and compliance documents. You should be able to independently with little direction be able to support in the creation of the weekly activity report. You will also support reviewing all deliverables and attending meetings with stakeholders. They will produce notes and action items.

You will be responsible for supporting the management of technical documents of the projects through all phases; initiation, planning, requirements design, testing and implementation.

Work Location: National Harbor (hybrid - telework)

Responsibilities:

Collect, define, and validate functional and non-functional requirements, including architecture, 508 compliance and security.

Perform and document a gap / technical cause analysis of identified existing issues to be addressed as part of the delivered solution.

Identify any dependent and/or other deficiencies

Identify and document the technical, infrastructure, and functional (interfaces data or application) dependencies that will be required to address and/or improve multiple FEMA application interface issues.

Support the application in development, testing, production & sustainment environments from FEMA HQ, Regional and field user communities.

Coordinate with teams to discover system requirements such as functions, input data, output data, techniques, controls, User Acceptance Testing criteria, and execution of users acceptance.

Write and edit documents such as Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

Track risks and opportunities within assigned projects, including development and implementation of mitigation plans.

Conduct Quality Reviews of documentation and processes to identify improvements opportunities.

Create and distribute project & operational reports as requested.

Participate in requirements meeting and data mapping sessions to analyze data dictionaries and develop Entity Relationship diagrams

Engage with multiple stakeholders to capture business requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and implement solutions

Qualifications:

Required:

Ability to obtain a FEMA EOD

Bachelors degree plus 8 years of experience

ITILv4 Foundations certification

Strong proficiency with Microsoft products such as Excel (pivot tables and charts), PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio and Teams.

Previous experience creating, revising, updating, and maintaining documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOP), job aids, and work instructions.

Ability to lead and facilitate meetings with government and contractor stakeholders.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in interpersonal and written formats.

Previous FEMA or Federal Government experience
