--- Project Description ---
This position will develop and/or maintain business
requirements, test plans and test cases and perform functional
and regression testing on applications. This position will also
support production applications.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Analyze system documentation and system artifacts to
develop an understanding of the associated business process.
2. Elicit business system requirements using one or
more of the following methods: analyze current processes,
interview users, conduct group meetings, review/analyze
existing documentation or system artifacts.
3. Document and analyze 'as is' and 'to be' business
processes.
4. Develop or maintain high-level and detailed system
requirements in the form of clear business requirements
documents, context diagrams, process flow diagrams, data
dictionaries, and use cases.
5. Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases.
6. Develop or maintain user acceptance testing plans and
help desk support guides.
7. Develop detailed functional and system tests from
documented system requirements. Ensure appropriate test
coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases.
8. Develop or contribute to the development of
regression tests and/or user acceptance tests.
9. Execute functional and system tests, including
regression tests. Participate in user acceptance testing.
10. Identify and document application defects and track to
resolution, performing retesting as required.
11. Identify and document deficiencies in system
documentation (e.g., missing or ambiguous requirements)
identified during the testing process.
12. Respond and work-through incident tickets submitted
by users of business applications.

Business Analyst
Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
Expert 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

--- Required Qualifications ---
• 84 months experience eliciting business requirements from
business customers or system artifacts and maintaining such
requirements.
• 84 months experience developing business requirements and
process documentation such as use cases, process flows, screen
mock-ups, and data dictionaries.
• 84 months experience creating test plans and test cases, executing
functional and system tests including regression tests. Ensure
appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test
cases.
• 84 months experience identifying and documenting application
defects, tracking defects experience to resolution, and performing
retesting as required.
• 24 months experience with systems related to criminal justice
processing (including but not limited to: statistical reporting,
disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing,
criminal history updating, Sex Offender management, tracking of
Wanted/Missing persons, or other applications utilized by law
enforcement.
