Senior Business Analyst / Change Management Lead

Remote | 12-Month Contract

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Change Management Lead to support two strategic enterprise technology initiatives focused on network modernization, cybersecurity enhancement, and operational readiness.

The successful candidate will provide business analysis and change management services across multiple workstreams, supporting stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, process design, communications, training, operational readiness, and transition to support. This role requires experience working on complex IT infrastructure and cybersecurity programs involving multiple stakeholder groups and technology teams.

Project 1: Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Transformation

Project Description

This project will modernize the organizations network and security architecture through the implementation of a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) framework, including Secure Service Edge (SSE), Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), legacy VPN replacement for approximately 5,000 users, and ServiceNow integration.

The project aims to enhance cybersecurity, improve user experience, strengthen secure remote access capabilities, and support broader cloud transformation initiatives.

Key activities include requirements gathering, current and future state assessments, solution design, pilot and deployment activities, operational readiness, user training, transition to support, and project closeout.

Scope of Work

Provide Business Analysis and Change Management services to support:

• SSE, SD-WAN, and ZTNA initiatives
• VPN replacement activities
• ServiceNow integration
• Operational readiness planning
• Stakeholder engagement and communications
• Training and knowledge transfer
• Transition to operations

Project 2: Network Access Control (NAC) Expansion

Project Description

This project will expand the organizations Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control (NAC) platform following the successful completion of Phase 1.

The initiative includes migrating additional wired and wireless device groups, establishing standardized authentication and access control policies, supporting Zero Trust principles, and developing a retirement plan for legacy Microsoft NPS infrastructure.

The project aims to improve network security, device authentication, governance, and operational support processes.

Scope of Work

Provide Business Analysis and Change Management services to support:

• Aruba ClearPass NAC expansion
• Device migration planning
• Authentication requirements gathering
• Network access policy development
• Operational readiness activities
• Training and testing coordination
• Governance activities
• Legacy NPS retirement planning

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent)

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting large-scale IT projects and enterprise technology transformations.
• Proven experience in workflow and process mapping, requirements management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience supporting network infrastructure, cybersecurity, authentication services, NAC, SD-WAN, SSE/SASE, ZTNA, and ServiceNow initiatives.
• Experience conducting current and future state assessments, process analysis, and requirements documentation.
• Experience leading operational readiness, transition-to-support, training, and change management activities.
• Experience developing communications plans, change impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Experience supporting governance activities, benefits realization, and executive reporting.
• Familiarity with STRA, PIA, and other regulatory compliance processes.

Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Smartsheet, Excel, Jira, and project management tools.
• Experience creating process maps, use cases, requirements documentation, training materials, operational documentation, and readiness assessments.
