About the Opportunity

We are currently hiring for a Business Analyst position with one of our clients in New York, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are interested in business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, and supporting business decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, documentation, and actionable solutions.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare business reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support business and technology initiatives.
• Perform data analysis using Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Track project requirements, deliverables, issues, and action items.
• Participate in meetings with business and technical teams to understand project objectives.
• Support testing, validation, and implementation of business solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or other analytical tools.
• Academic, internship, or project experience in business analysis, data analysis, or process improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience creating process flows, requirements documents, or functional specifications.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
• Exposure to business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization.
