Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Chillicothe, IL
Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate:  $51.00 – 55.50/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Capacity Analyst to support supplier capacity planning, performance analysis, and strategic process improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying capacity risks and performance trends, developing executive-level reporting, and providing actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. The successful candidate will partner with procurement, supply chain, operations, and category management teams to improve capacity visibility, support network planning initiatives, and enhance reporting efficiency through data-driven solutions. Based on internal role information provided by the hiring team and similar supplier capacity and analytics responsibilities found in enterprise materials.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze supplier capacity data, performance metrics, and risk exposure to identify trends and support business decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and leadership summaries that communicate capacity status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
  • Create and implement process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and data visibility.
  • Support category management teams in identifying and addressing supplier capacity gaps through data analysis and planning initiatives.
  • Track, monitor, and report progress on capacity-related projects and action items.
  • Partner with procurement, supply chain, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into concise, executive-ready presentations and reports for leadership review.
  • Support enterprise capacity planning efforts through forecasting, analytics, and performance tracking activities.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to develop meaningful metrics, reporting solutions, and visualizations that support strategic planning.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities related to supplier performance, capacity management, and operational effectiveness.

Years of Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
  • Internship experience will be considered toward overall experience requirements.
