Business Analyst

Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Summary:

• Location: Oakland, CA
• Work Mode: Remote
• Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis on moderately complex data models selecting from various reports and data options.
• Determine data needs, collect data, and select from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes.
• Understand business needs, develop new reports, and perform custom/ad-hoc reporting independently.
• Present findings to various audiences.
• Perform basic research internally and externally.
• Communicate with peers inside and outside the department, exchanging ideas or gathering information.
• Participate on project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches, and tactics.
• Full understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling and how different factors affect business outcomes.
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.

• Presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, or similar software.
