Business Analyst

Summary:

• Work Mode: Hybrid for local candidates, Remote for non-local candidates
• Location: Oakland, Bay Area

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis on moderately complex data models, selecting from various reports and data options.
• Determine data needs, collect data, and select from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes.
• Understand business needs, develop new reports, and perform custom/ad-hoc reporting independently. Present findings to various audiences.
• Conduct basic research internally and externally.
• Communicate with peers inside and outside the department, exchanging ideas or gathering information.
• Participate on project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.

• Knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches, and tactics.
• Full understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling and how different factors affect business outcomes.

• General understanding in Operational Monitoring & Analysis, Advocacy and Persuasion, and Presentation Skills.
