RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for defining and prioritizing the business needs of the technology solution project including the review and tracking of gaps between business processes, technical requirements, federal compliance, or user experience for overall system functionality. Further, provides insight into the project and contractor methods of doing business by reviewing process and product activities for adherence to standards and plans.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Designs information systems solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively.
• Facilitates software development lifecycle activities
• Conducts Requirements Gathering Sessions
• Creates artifacts relative to project initiatives
• Contributes to work plans and other deliverables
• Partners with QA to develop User Acceptance Testing
• Communicates business challenges to stakeholder and assist in developing solutions
• Identifies opportunities for streamlining procedures by applying IT best practices
• Updates and creates training and learning management system documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong familiarity with Systems Development Lifecycle
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to take initiative to move daily work forward
• Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance when needed
• Creative problem-solving ability
• Commitment to exceptional client service
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Knowledge of tools used by the client such as Microsoft TFS/MTM, ADO, and Visual Studio
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Experience: 4+ years' experience in business planning and software development
• Facilitation of requirements sessions.
• Ability to run program office specific reporting which does involve manipulation of Excel files with formulas
• Ability to assist with training on the UAT process, including what Ad Hoc testing means to ensure that beginner
• testers are able to fully understand the terminology and the best methods for testing.
• Ability to be able to participate in large scale initiatives, and provide the client with solutions and support with
• the intent of requirements
