Seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst Payments with strong expertise in the banking and financial services domain, specifically payment processing and wire payment initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of business analysis experience with proven ability to gather requirements, define business processes, create functional specifications, and collaborate with product, operations, and technology teams to deliver payment solutions.

The candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirement analysis, solution alignment, testing support, and successful implementation of payment platforms and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, Technology teams, and business stakeholders to understand payment business objectives and operational requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution design sessions.
• Translate business needs into detailed:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • User Stories
  • Process Flows
  • Acceptance Criteria
• Partner with Product Owners and business teams to prioritize requirements and manage project scope.
• Analyze existing payment processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate functionality, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify business impacts, dependencies, risks, and implementation challenges.
• Support production validation, deployment activities, and post-release issue resolution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Product Owner.
• Strong experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Payments domain.
• Hands-on experience working on payment initiatives, preferably Wire Payments.
• Strong understanding of payment processing workflows and transaction banking platforms.
• Excellent requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business, technology, operations, and senior leadership teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Fedwire and/or The Clearing House (TCH) payment systems.
• Knowledge of payment message formats and payment processing lifecycle.
• Experience with treasury services or transaction banking platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data mapping.
• Experience supporting payment modernization or digital banking initiatives.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
