Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating DevSecOps requirements, defining workflows, and improving tooling ecosystems to support secure software delivery.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:
Gather and document business and technical requirements for DevSecOps initiatives, collaborating with engineering, platform, and InfoSec teams.
Translate business needs and security requirements into clear functional specifications and workflows.
Analyze existing tools and processes to identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities.
Support development of governance frameworks, including access controls and compliance requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and validation sessions to ensure alignment and clarity.
Create documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows to support project execution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in business analysis with strong exposure to DevSecOps and platform environments.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) with ability to translate technical requirements.
Proven experience in stakeholder management, documentation (BRDs/FRDs), and driving governance, compliance, and tooling improvements across cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
