    Job Title: Business Analyst / Product Owner

    Location: Austin, TX

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Industry: Wealth / Asset Management

    BA to drive modernization of advisor platforms and account opening/onboarding experiences within wealth management. Partners with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering to define requirements and deliver digital transformation of advisor and client-facing workflows.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IS, CS, or related field.
    • 5–10 years BA experience, incl. 3+ years in Wealth/Asset Management or Broker-Dealer, with direct exposure to advisor platforms or account opening systems.
    • Strong understanding of account opening/onboarding processes and advisor workflow tools.
    • Agile/Scrum experience; skilled in BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gather, analyze, and document requirements for advisor platform and account opening modernization initiatives; translate into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
    • Analyze and redesign end-to-end account opening and onboarding workflows (new accounts, householding, account maintenance, money movement) to reduce friction and manual touchpoints.
    • Partner with advisors and operations teams to identify pain points in current platform tools and recommend digital/automation-driven improvements.
    • Support Agile delivery (backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies, demos) for platform modernization workstreams; validate delivered functionality against business intent.
    • Support UAT, define test scenarios, and coordinate defect triage for onboarding/platform releases.
