Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will be stationed at the client location and serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT delivery teams. The role requires gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements through close collaboration with business, functional, and technical teams. The Business Analyst will own the product backlog, facilitate Agile ceremonies related to backlog management, and ensure requirements are approved and traceable through delivery.
Primary Skills
" Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT delivery teams.
" Conduct stakeholder discussions and workshops to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
" Translate business needs into clear, complete, and actionable functional requirements and user stories.
" Develop a strong understanding of the enterprise application's end-to-end functional flow across multiple systems and interfaces.
" Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business users, architects, developers, QA teams, UX designers, and integration teams, to ensure complete understanding of business processes and system interactions.
" Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog in JIRA.
" Facilitate backlog grooming/refinement sessions and work with technical teams to ensure stories are appropriately estimated.
" Prioritize requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and distribute work across sprint backlogs based on business priorities and delivery capacity.
" Create and maintain release roadmaps and support release planning activities.
" Ensure complete traceability of requirements from business need through implementation.
" Drive requirement reviews and approvals using Figma for UI/UX validation and obtain formal business sign-off before stories are considered ready for development.
" Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Release Planning.
" Manage requirement changes and communicate impacts to all stakeholders.
Secondary Skills
" Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
" Experience working with enterprise-scale applications involving multiple integrated systems.
" Familiarity with API-based integrations, system interfaces, and data flows.
" Ability to create functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and business process documentation.
" Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Figma.
" Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
" Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
" Ability to facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution discussions.
" Experience with release planning, dependency management, and risk identification.
" Knowledge of requirement traceability, change management, and governance processes.
" Ability to work independently at client locations while coordinating effectively with distributed teams.
" Exposure to SDLC best practices, quality assurance processes, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
" Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
" Ability to leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance Business Analysis activities, including requirements elicitation, documentation, user story creation, acceptance criteria generation, backlog refinement, impact analysis, meeting summarization, process analysis, and productivity improvements while ensuring accuracy, governance, and business context are maintained.
Preferred Experience
" 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise application development projects.
" Proven experience working directly with client business stakeholders.
" Demonstrated experience managing Agile product backlogs using JIRA.
" Experience collaborating with UX teams using Figma for requirement validation and business approvals.
" Experience coordinating across multiple technical and functional teams in large-scale enterprise environments.
