Join a leading financial services organization as a Business Analyst supporting high-impact regulatory and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced corporate banking environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex business problems, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, and translating regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions.

This is a true Business Analyst position focused on business operations and compliance—not project management.

What You'll Do

• Analyze regulatory and compliance requirements to determine business impact
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Partner with compliance, legal, operations, technology, and business teams to drive regulatory initiatives
• Interpret complex regulations and translate them into clear business requirements
• Support regulatory reporting, business process analysis, and data analysis efforts
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies while recommending practical solutions
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships
• Ensure deliverables meet established timelines and quality expectations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in banking or financial services
• Strong experience supporting regulatory, compliance, risk, or operational initiatives
• Knowledge of banking operations and financial markets
• Experience gathering business requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or similar business lines
• Background working on enterprise regulatory or compliance programs
• Familiarity with U.S. or global financial regulations
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting initiatives

Contract Details

• Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
• Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension up to 24 months
• Interview Process: One 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview
