Business Analyst I
The Business Analyst supports data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and business performance monitoring. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with at least one year of experience who can turn data into actionable insights and collaborate with stakeholders to support decision-making. Working closely with analytics teams and business partners, this position helps maintain reporting solutions, ensure data quality, and communicate performance trends. This is an onsite role based in Renton, WA, requiring five days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
Gather and document business requirements for reporting and analytics needs.
Develop, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
Support the reporting lifecycle, including design, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Validate data accuracy, quality, and integrity; escalate issues when necessary.
Prepare routine and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.
Monitor performance against business goals and benchmarks.
Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and reporting procedures.
Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical methods to support operational and strategic objectives.
Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, operations, finance, project coordination, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
Understanding of business intelligence concepts, including data analysis, reporting, data visualization, data quality, and relational databases.
Experience building reports, dashboards, or visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data organization.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
