Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract job with a client in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Requirements Analysis, Regression Testing, and Atlassian JIRA, along with expertise in business process documentation, testing coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze business requirements, assess current processes, and define future-state solutions that support business objectives and document modernization initiatives.

• Perform functional testing, regression testing, production validation, migration testing coordination, and test script creation and maintenance to ensure solution quality and successful deployments.

• Manage product backlogs, develop acceptance criteria, prioritize requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

• Create and maintain business process documentation, process flows, training materials, user guides, and operational procedures to support business transformation efforts.

• Research and investigate production issues, coordinate defect resolution activities, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technology solutions.

• Participate in solution design discussions, provide recommendations for process improvements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong experience in Requirements Analysis, business process improvement, and business systems implementation initiatives.

• Demonstrated expertise in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, test planning, and quality assurance activities.

• Hands-on experience utilizing Atlassian JIRA for backlog management, issue tracking, requirements management, and project coordination.

• Experience creating detailed business process documentation, workflows, process maps, and functional specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting document management, document modernization, workflow automation, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Knowledge of Integration Testing methodologies and experience coordinating testing activities across multiple applications and business processes.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Experience developing training materials, conducting knowledge transfer sessions, and supporting end-user adoption initiatives.

• Ability to mentor junior team members and provide guidance on business analysis, testing, and documentation best practices.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
