Business Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay: $53/hr - $58/hr

Type: Contract + full benefits

Summary

The Business Analyst will support business systems, software implementations, and system integration projects. You'll work with business and technical teams to gather requirements, improve business processes, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deliver enterprise application enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify business needs and improve processes
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
  • Work with technical teams to develop and implement business system solutions
  • Create functional specifications and support solution design
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test plans, and test scripts
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), system implementations, and go-live activities
  • Track issues, validate system changes, and support post-implementation enhancements
  • Assist with business readiness, change management, user training, and stakeholder communications
  • Manage multiple business analysis and system enhancement projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst experience
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Experience with business process analysis, systems implementation, or system integration projects
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plans, test cases, and test execution
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience with Oracle, ERP, or enterprise business applications preferred
  • CBAP certification preferred
