Business Analyst

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Overview: We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst - UAT to support the second release of a large-scale Loan Origination System (LOS) implementation within a Commercial Lending organization. This highly visible initiative expands a successful pilot to additional business units and will require strong collaboration across business and technology teams.

This role is responsible for leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business process analysis, process mapping, and operational readiness activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly become a subject matter expert, partner effectively with stakeholders, and drive testing efforts from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead UAT planning, test execution, issue tracking, and signoff for assigned business areas
• Develop test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and system design
• Coordinate testing activities with business users, SMEs, and project teams
• Facilitate defect triage and work with technology teams to resolve issues
• Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and provide project status updates
• Analyze current business processes and document future-state workflows
• Identify process improvements, operational impacts, and readiness gaps
• Support business requirements validation, procedure updates, and change readiness
• Partner with training, business, and technical teams to ensure successful solution adoption
• Assist with tester access, role validation, and testing environment readiness
