Business Analyst
Pay: $70,000–$90,000 per year
Location: Schenectady, NY (on-site preferred; open to hybrid, in-office 3 days/week)
Experience: 3–5 years is the sweet spot
 
About the Role
This is a pre-sales support role, helping the sales team analyze customer needs and choose the right solution setup. The Business Analyst will work on our client's AI-driven software product, mapping the platform to business needs, working directly with customers, understanding the product and its users, and writing user stories.
 
No particular technical specialization is required, though prior experience with document management systems, or a large platform like Salesforce, would be a plus, since these systems are similar to our client's document management solution.

• Map the platform's capabilities to prospective and current customers' business needs
• Work directly with customers to understand their requirements
• Develop a deep understanding of the product and how users interact with it
• Write clear, actionable user stories

• Intelligent Content Capture: Digitize content from various sources with minimal human intervention, ensuring quality and organization

• Predictive Analytics: Use extracted data to provide predictive analytics, helping organizations anticipate trends and make better decisions
• GenAI Chatbot: Assist users with document uploads, application navigation, and quick access to information through a generative AI-powered chatbot
