Overview:

Highlight is seeking a Business Analyst/Scrum master to join our new team supporting a federal customer. This person will contribute to the successful development and delivery of a .NET web application with a specific focus on Intelligent Transportation. This role will leverage Agile principles, serving as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders to translate user needs and functional requirements into actionable development tasks.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Facilitating and leading Agile ceremonies; promote and uphold Agile principles and practices
  • Remove impediments and obstacles from the project
  • Elicit, document, and validate user stories, requirements, and use cases to understand the needs of ITS JPO stakeholders
  • Translate business and user needs into actionable tasks for the development team, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, subject matter experts, and developers to ensure effective and efficient development processes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Management
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification with at least 3-year experience in application
  • Expertise in Scrum methodologies, business analysis, and a deep understanding of Intelligent Transportation systems
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst in .NET web application development projects
  • Proven experience with federal agency EPMO practices.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain public trust
