Business Analyst- Software Development

ResponsibilitiesLead the gathering of customer requirements and document business needs.Identify key success criteria for delivery of software products, processes, and systems.Interface with the product owners to present requirements documents.Document business requirements in issue tracking software.Lead routine development team meetings and document changes as needed.Perform software testing; lead sprint planning and sprint showcase efforts.Participate in the software development lifecycle process, including with end users, product owners, and cross-disciplinary teams.Lead and actively participate in the development and implementation of new processes that improve efficiency and enhance productivity.May oversee or mentor junior analysts and team members.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of relevant professional experienceDemonstrated experience using Agile processes and methodologiesDemonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologiesExperience using JIRA software for project management and software developmentCertified Business Analyst Professional (CBPA) certification preferredPrior experience with on-site government agency support preferredAbility to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.The role is contingent upon CSS winning the contract, please note it can take several months before we know whether this role will be filled
