Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong SQL expertise and extensive experience supporting large-scale government agency projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in requirements gathering, business process analysis, data analysis, stakeholder management, and technical documentation for complex enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• 84+ months of experience leading teams of technical systems analysts on complex projects.
• Extensive experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.
• Experience planning and facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
• Ability to identify process improvements and recommend technical solutions.
• Experience resolving stakeholder concerns related to design specifications and system functionality.

Documentation & Stakeholder Collaboration

• 84+ months of experience creating and managing:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
  • Business Rules Documentation
  • Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM)
  • Workflow Diagrams
  • Functional and Technical Requirements
• Experience collaborating with:
  • Development Teams
  • Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Project Managers
  • Executive Stakeholders
  • Government Agency Personnel

SQL & Data Analysis

• 60+ months of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience analyzing and validating backend data processing.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects, anomalies, and data issues.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex relational databases.
• Understanding of data flows, data mapping, and system integrations.

Process Modeling & Technical Analysis

• 48+ months of experience creating and analyzing:
  • Business Process Flows
  • Workflow Diagrams
  • Technical Process Diagrams
  • System Interaction Models
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Visio.

Wireframing & User Experience Analysis

• 36+ months of experience creating wireframes and screen mockups.
• Ability to translate business requirements into user-friendly designs and functional specifications.
