Position Summary: Title: Business Analyst Standard III Duration: 6 Months Possible Extension Location: Washington, DC 20433
Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with technical teams and offshore developers to turn business requirements into effective solutions.
Provide functional and technical guidance to the development team.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users to ensure reports and data solutions meet requirements.
Support Program Managers in tracking project deliverables using Agile/Scrum and SDLC processes.
Identify and manage technical issues, risks, and challenges, and communicate them to leadership.
Create and maintain documentation, processes, and procedures for smooth handoff to application support teams.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in data, reporting, or business technology roles.
Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications preferred.
Experience working with large-scale data and reporting applications.
Good understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Operational Data Stores.
Knowledge of databases, ETL processes, data integration, transaction processing, and testing methodologies.
