Position Summary: Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
- Inbound Transportation Management System (TMS) Manager role focused on logistics operations, TMS process improvement, standardization, implementation, and compliance.
- Partners with logistics leadership, suppliers, carriers, and TMS providers to support transportation and supply chain initiatives.
- Supports TMS deployment, maintenance, training, process development, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure TMS shipping process improvement, standardization, and compliance.
- Monitor transportation partner performance and provide feedback to transportation managers, suppliers, and the TMS Control Tower.
- Create and maintain TMS implementation, integration, process, and training documentation.
- Recommend improvements and enhancements to TMS optimization capabilities.
- Define project scope, communicate status, and ensure timely delivery of project components.
- Train internal personnel, suppliers, and team members on TMS processes and provide post-launch support.
- Develop inbound shipping processes, supplier communications, workflows, and standard work documentation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to design, test, and deploy TMS solutions.
- Manage logistics workflow design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and system updates.
- Communicate critical TMS changes and disruptions to leadership, suppliers, and customers.
- Partner with regional TMS counterparts to support overall program improvements and share best practices.
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience required.
- Background in domestic and international freight within North America.
- Experience implementing logistics process improvement projects in complex environments and across multiple transportation modes.
- Experience with large-scale Transportation Management System (TMS) implementations.
- Industrial or aerospace logistics experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience with shipping and transportation software systems.
- ISM and/or APICS certifications are valued but not required.
