Position Title: Business Analyst
Location: Tallahassee, Florida 32301.
Duration: 6-month
Work Schedule: M-F

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • SKILLS
    To accomplish the work outlined above, FDACS requires an experienced business analyst with
    the following skills and experience listed below. Technical Skills, written and verbal
    communication, and experience will be the basis for evaluation of responses to the RFQ.
    • Minimum of a of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business
    Administration, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience of IT business/industry work experience.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in performing business analysis on IT projects.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience with Agile Software Development methodologies.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience with Requirements Gathering.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation

    Server (TFS).
    • Minimum 7 years of experience conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
    with client stakeholders and subject matter experts.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in designing, maintaining, and scaling custom automated
    testing frameworks from scratch (e.g., using Page Object Model).
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in automation testing; designing, writing, and executing
    automation test scripts using a variety of tools (Selenium or similar) to verify system
    functionality and find software bugs.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in generating automation scripts and updating existing to
    align with ongoing UI shifts and new feature deployments.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in REST API and Microservices testing; executing endpoint
    validation, contract checks, and payload verification using Insomnia or similar API tools.
    • Proficiency in testing and validating REST APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or
    other API testing tools.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in translating functional specification into technical
    specification from which programmers can construct the solution.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience translating business requirements into use
    cases/user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in translating the information from meetings and written
    materials into mock-ups, process models, and/or process flow models.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in creating technical documentation and standard operating
    procedures.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in collaborating with QA teams, coordinating UAT schedules,
    conducting UAT sessions, and guiding business testers through the workflows.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience with process model diagram tools, such as but not limited to
    Microsoft Visio.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in manual testing; validate system functionality by
    authoring test scenarios and executing manual checks against business requirements.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing; designing, writing, and executing
    automation test scripts to verify system functionality and finding software bugs.
    • Good verbal/communication skills.
    • Good writing skills.
    • Good technical writing skills.
    • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Skills and experience in deriving business process and data requirements from the reading
    and analyzing of process and systems documentation.
    • Skills and experience in creating data dictionaries.
