Business Analyst - Remote, Washington, DC

Duration: 3+ months

Seeking as a Business Analyst where you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. We are looking for a skilled individual with the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management and Inventory Management Systems
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne)
  • Experience with IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow)
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and defect analysis
  • Understanding of Apache Kafka and data movement between systems
  • Experience in validating API behavior and integration rules
  • Ability to decompose complex processes into clear business logic
  • Working knowledge of Oracle databases for troubleshooting and data tracing
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions across multiple teams
  • Effective liaison between business and technical teams
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies
  • Ability to manage UAT and CAT testing sessions
  • Experience creating process documentation, user guides, and SOPs
  • Strong communication skills for non-technical audiences
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver
  • Collaborative and team-oriented

Expected Deliverables:

  • Support the operation and security of FMIS and MDIMS applications
  • Work on high-priority issues backlog
  • Support test automation and security findings remediation
  • Refine backlog items and write stories
  • Create test cases and manage UAT/CAT sessions
  • Develop test scenarios and track defects
  • Create process documentation and support workflows
  • Run working sessions and gather requirements
  • Conduct impact assessments and drive issue resolution
