This Business Analyst will support a Data Warehouse Replatform initiative as part of the Common App program. The role focuses on analyzing existing applications and data structures, defining business and technical requirements, and supporting successful delivery through testing, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Review and analyze existing applications and code bases to understand system functionality and business processes
Perform data profiling, quality analysis, querying, cleanup, and mapping activities
Define and document interface requirements and technical specifications
Develop detailed functional and technical requirements, including use cases, wireframes, storyboards, and process flows
Create test scenarios, test plans, and test scripts; support testing and validation efforts
Gather, analyze, and document current-state and future-state business processes
Partner closely with business and technical stakeholders across all organizational levels
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and working sessions; document outcomes and action items
Support development of application support plans, RACI models, and support handover documentation
Contribute to Agile delivery activities and collaborate with development and DevOps teams
Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting software implementations or deployments
Strong technical aptitude with experience in Java, C/C++, and Oracle databases
Advanced Excel skills, including macros
Extensive experience in data profiling, data analysis, querying, and data integration projects
Strong background in defining and documenting functional and technical requirements
Working knowledge of data science concepts, data products, and data requirement gathering
Experience working in Agile environments and with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
Familiarity with automated testing tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5–10 years of relevant Business Analysis experience, preferably within IT, cloud computing, or data integration projects
Programming experience strongly preferred
Business Analysis certifications are a plus, including:
IIBA (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, AAC)
PMI-PBA
IQBBA CFLBA
IREB CPRE
Certifications in Agile, DevOps, Data Management, or programming languages are a plus
