We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analytics Manager - Vet to support strategic decision-making by translating and analysing data into actionable business insights. This role is responsible for driving meaningful outputs that drive category growth, pricing optimization, and overall business performance.
This individual will partner closely with Marketing and Customer Development teams to "connect the dots" across multiple datasets and uncover opportunities to accelerate Hill's growth, share, and profitability across online channels.
Responsibilities:
Translate complex vet datasets into clear business insights, with a focus on:
Driving category growth and performance
Grow market share and penetration
Leverage RGM
7P implementation and tracking, including pricing, distribution, promotional effectiveness
Traffic, conversion, and basket-level behavior
Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources (clean rooms, syndicated data, retailer platforms, internal systems) to identify trends that drive vet growth and profitability
Develop and maintain standardized dashboards and reporting to track KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, share of search, and digital shelf performance
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate insights into vet strategies that improve sales, share, and ROI
Lead analysis, visualization, and storytelling
Provide ad hoc analysis to support key business questions related to online performance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Data Science, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on vet, digital analytics, or clean room environments
Experience working with clean room environments or retail media data platforms
Experience with data providers (e.g., Nielsen, Numerator, Profitero, Rakuten, Similarweb, etc.)
Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI)
Preferred qualifications:
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and manipulation
Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
Strong understanding of vet KPIs (conversion, traffic, AOV, ROAS, etc.)
Proven ability to analyze vet category data, growth trends, and pricing dynamics
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into business-driving insights
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Experience building automated dashboards and scalable reporting solutions
Strong understanding of digital commerce performance drivers, including assortment, content, pricing, and media
Hands-on experience with vet clean room platforms
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $109,600.00 - $155,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
