Salary: $180,000 - $300,000 per year

Our work spans both litigation and transactional matters, including business disputes, real estate, trusts and estates, and probate. Job Details- Manage a caseload of 20 to 30 litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft complaints, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend court appearances, hearings, and mediations
- Conduct legal research, manage discovery, and build litigation strategy
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed on strategy, risk, and next steps
- Work closely with your overseeing partner and dedicated paralegal to keep cases moving
- Handle a broad mix of business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, noncompete agreements, employment claims, -IP infringement, bad faith, and class actions
- Maintain an annual billable hour requirement of 1,500
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
- Experience taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and handling mediations
- Comfort appearing in court independently
- Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish with minimal hand holding
- Strong client communication skills, especially with business owners and families in high stakes disputes
- Proficiency with Westlaw, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe
