TheBusiness Applications Administratoris responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, optimization, and support of enterprise business applications that enable lending and operational processes. This role serves as the functional owner of assigned applications, ensuring systems are configured to support business needs, users are successful and applications continue to evolve through collaboration with business units, vendors and IT.
Who You Are
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional reports and correspondence using proper grammar.
Experience working with software vendors and business stakeholders.
Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as regulations, and internal policies.
Proficiency in intermediate mathematical concepts, including decimals, percentages, and fractions.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Taking on other job duties as assigned.
Effective interpersonal skills for engaging with members, external parties, and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with advanced capabilities in core financial software applications.
What You Will Do
Serve as the functional owner for assigned business applications, including the core, Loan Origination System (LOS), and other enterprise platforms.
Maintain application configurations that support business operations; evaluate application capabilities and ensure applications align with business processes and operational goals.
Develop strong relationships with business units to understand operational needs to help identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of existing system functionality.
Configure workflows, user roles and system settings; coordinate configuration changes with IT and vendors and maintain configuration documentation.
Serve as the primary business contact for assigned vendors, participate in vendor roadmap discussions. Manage user access, permissions, application process, support onboarding training for new users, provide advanced application support and troubleshooting functional issues and develop user guides.
Participate in new system implementation, major system enhancements, and partner with business units to validate business needs and requirements.
Coordinate with IT and vendors on application integrations, validate business exchange between systems and assist in resolving integration issues from a business perspective.
Education & Experience:
Experience administering enterprise business applications.
Experience supporting SaaS solutions and basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
Financial services or credit union experience preferred.
A combination of relevant education, training, and experience that supports the required competencies.
